Saana Inari (*1983 Finland) works with installations and sculptures, video and media art, animation, performance, and photography – often combining several techniques simultaneously.
Her work often explores movement, anatomy and human feelings through dream states, animal figures – and emptiness as a space for thought.
Her films have been screened on international film festivals like Kurzfilmtage Oberhausen. She has had solo exhibitions in New York, Melbourne and Helsinki, in addition to group shows worldwide.
She graduated from the Finnish Academy of Fine Arts in Helsinki with an MA in media arts and sculpture. She lives and works in Berlin.
